Montpelier, Iowa-Carole Krieger, 62 of Montpelier died Monday, July 30, 2001, at her home following a long battle with cancer.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Davenport.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mount Sinai Christian Fellowship Church in Davenport.
Mrs. Krieger was born Nov. 5, 1938, in Montpelier, the daughter of Delbert J. and Ruth Teitsch Lobdell. She married Robert Lee Krieger Sept. 5, 1964 in Rock Island, Ill. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1995
She was employed at Brammer Manufacturing for 32 years, retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Orton and her husband, Michael, of Montpelier and Kelli Perez and her husband, Jason, of Denver, Colo.; a grandson, Sean Robert Orton of Montpelier; granddaughters, Allissa and Shauna Clay, both of Davenport; four brothers, Delbert Lobdell Jr. of Muscatine County, Allen Lobdell of Montpelier, Darrell Lobdell and his wife, Joyce, of Weslaco, Texas, and Duane Lobdell and his wife Beverly, of rural Blue Grass; a sister-in-law, Helen Riggins of Des Moines; brothers-in-law, Bernard Krieger and his wife, Judy, of Ottumwa and Gordon Morse of Limestone, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Mary Lobdell; and a sister, Audrey Brink.
