Mrs. Hobart, 29, Dies Following Extended Illness.

Mrs. Cora M. Hobart, 29, a life-long resident of Muscatine died at 8:55 a.m. today in the home of her mother, Mrs. Cora Duncan, 107 Brock street, of complications. She had been ill for two years, and was bedfast the past two months.

The daughter of William and Cora McCoy Duncan, she was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Muscatine, and was married to Carl E. Hobart, Jan. 12, 1932, in Rock Island, Ill. Mrs. Hobart was a member of the First Baptist church.

Surviving are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Duncan, two half-brothers, Clarence McCoy of Muscatine and Ralph McCoy of Davenport; two sisters, Ina Royster and Martha Williams, both of Muscatine; and two half-sisters, Ivie Goodwin of Muscatine and Grace McCoy of Detroit, Mich. One half-brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the George M. Wittich Funeral home, with the Rev. Vance Webster, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The boy was taken to the home of the mother tonight to remain until time for services.
