Services: 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation: today from 1- 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Ola's name. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery.

MUSCATINE, Iowa—Ola Mae Henderson, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at her home in Muscatine.

Ola Mae Garrison was born on December 31, 1927, in Cooper County, Missouri, the daughter of George Marshall and Susie Isabelle (Bledsoe) Garrison. In 1943 she married Bob Johnson. They later divorced. On July 2, 1955, Ola was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Henderson in Davenport.

Ola will be missed by her children, Stella (Jack) Best of Columbus City, Lois (Frank) Newton of Muscatine and Karen Etter of Davenport; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lorene Jackson of Franklin, Missouri and Isabel Jackson of Boonville, Missouri.

Ola was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great-grandchild, Callie Poci; brothers, Elwood, Vester Lee, Eugene, Clarence, Orville, George and Charles; and sisters, Opal Hurley, Mary Martha Simmons and Evelyn Smith
