Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Kenneth Carl Henderson, 82, Muscatine, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Lutheran Homes.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Bemis will officiate. Pallbearers are his grandchildren. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.

Mr. Henderson was born July 22, 1920, in Forakre, Okla., the son of John I. and Estella P. Brown Henderson. He married Nona Carlisle in 1948 and then later married Ola M. Garrison July 2, 1955, in Davenport.

He was the office manager at Kent Feeds for 30 years prior to his retirement.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ola; daughters, Stella Best and husband Jack of Columbus City, Lois Newton and husband Frank Jr. and Karen Etter, all of Muscatine; a sister, Juanita Hunn of Muscatine; a brother, John Henderson of Davenport; grandchildren, Franklin Carl Best, Beth Ann Newton, Erik Scott Newton, Sarah Etter, Staci Etter and Shelley Etter; and a great-grandchild, Lily Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Cleo Henderson, Allen Henderson and Cecil Henderson; and a sister, Irene Yeater.
