William Hunn, 81, died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at his home at 525 1/2 Mulberry Avenue.

Mr. Hunn was born March 6, 1880 at Fairport, the son of Michael and Mary Hunn. He was a life resident of Fairport and Muscatine.

He was married first to Bessie Sylvester, and she preceded him in death. He was married to Pearl Henderson at Rock Island.

Mr. Hunn was a retired section foreman for the Rock Island railroad. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church at Fairport.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Pearl Hunn; two sons, Walter Harold Hunn of Fullerton, Calif. and Paul E. Hunn of Muscatine, four step sons, Allen Henderson of Davenport, Cecil Henderson of Rock Island, Kenneth Henderson and John Henderson, both of Muscatine; a step-daughter, Mrs. William Yeater of Muscatine; a brother, Phillip Hunn of Rock Island; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at the George M. Wittich funeral home, with Rev. J. Arthur Eveland officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery.
