Mrs. Pearson, 75, Services To Be Held on Sunday

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home for Mrs. Kathryn Pearson, 75, who died at 2:35 a.m. Thursday after an extended illness. Her home was at 605 East Fifth street.

The Rev. Vernon Overturf, pastor of the Musserville Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

The daughter of Elizabeth Willier and John Q. Wheatley, she was born in Louisa county on Nov. 18, 1874. She was married to Wallace Klein Dec. 5 1894, in Wapello. She was a member of the Christian church of Wapello.

Surviving are three sons, John Orville, Delbert V. W. and Stewart Kline, all of Muscatine; six daughters, Mrs. Carl Brown, Mrs. Gladys Fisher, Mrs. Naomi Hendrix, all of Muscatine, Mrs. Sam Price of Milwaukee, Wis., and Ms. Arthur Schalk and Mrs. Emma Hixon, both of West Liberty; 25 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
