SAMUEL ETTER

Samuel F. Etter, 90, died Wednesday at the Wapello Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Jameson officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomington Friends Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.

The son of Frank and Inza B. Fraze Etter, he was born Feb. 12, 1893 in Kinross. He had resided in the Muscatine area since 1915.

His marriage to Margaret Clevenger too place April 18, 1914 in Letts. Mr. Etter retired from the McKee Button Co.

Survivors include two sons, Harry of Muscatine and Samuel R. of Dubuque; six daughters, Mrs. Marie Goldesberry of Riverside, Mrs. Sidney (Amy) Terry and Mrs. Zeke (Margaret) Wichers, both of Muscatine, MIldred Andrews of California, Mrs. Billy (Joyce) Burks of Blue Grass, and Mrs. Frances Gentzler of Paxton, Ill; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, John H. of Niles, Mich.; and one sister Mrs. Leland (Ruth) Tomlinson of Bartonsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters, two brothers, one son, and two grandchildren.

Services for Samuel F. Etter, 90, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home.

The Rev. Wayne Jameson officiated. Mrs. Florence Hetzler was the organist.

Pallbearers were Bruce Etter, Jeff Etter, Harry Etter, Jr., John Goldesberry, Charles Watkinson, and Donald Watkinson.

Burial was in the Bloomington Friends Cemetery.

Mr. Etter died Wednesday at the Wapello Nursing Home.
