MUSCATINE, Iowa -- William Ivey, 50, of Muscatine, died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in Santa Monica, Calif., while on business.

Services will be at the Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory in Muscatine. Ed Foster will officiate. Burial with private family service will be at Klein Cemetery.

He was born May 19, 1950, in Muscatine, the son of William Alden and Bernice Gertrude Reed Ivey. He married Paula Busch on May 7, 1972, in Cedar Falls. They were divorced.
He was employed by Arkansas Audio-Visual of Little Rock, Ark. as an audio-visual specialist.

He enjoyed camping, traveling and playing his guitar.

Survivors include a son, Thomas R. Ivey of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, April S. Ivey of Cedar Falls; his father, William A. Ivey of Burlington; two sisters, Pam Schellekens and her husband, Rudy and Tammy McConnell and her husband, Jim, all of Muscatine; a granddaughter, Savannah Lee Ivey of Cedar Falls; two half-sisters, Laura Chausse of Burlington and Lisa Ivey of Minneapolis; two nieces and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, and a sister.
