WILTON, Iowa
Jerry Lyman, 63, of Wilton, died today at his home.

Services will be at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant. The Rev. David Lawson will officiate. Organist will be Sue Voss and vocalist will be Henry Bentley. Pallbearers will be Kenny Bonice, Rion Schultz, Brad Norman, Keith Lyman, Frank Lyman, Rick Schwennen, Harold Alt, and Dave Herring. Honorary pallbearers will be Franklin Lyman and Everett Lyman. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls.

Visitation will be at at Bentley Funeral Homes in Wilton.

He was born on Aug. 4, 1936, in Lawn Hill, the son of Frank and Bessie Stuart
Lyman. He married Shirley N. Alt on Sept. 2, 1955, in Iowa Falls.

He was employed by REC in Wilton as an electrical lineman.

He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and cooking.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lyman of Wilton; a daughter, Jeri Wiskus and her husband, Duane, of Elkhorn, Neb.; two sons, Larry Lyman and his wife, Tammy, of Wilton and Scott Lyman and his wife, Ty Ann, of Kelso, Tenn.; two sisters, Eva Starn of Eldora and Phyllis Riekena and her husband, Larry, of Iowa Falls; three brothers, Everett Lyman and his wife, Edna of New Providence, James Lyman of Iowa Falls and Franklin Lyman and his wife, Elsie, of Lake City, S.C.; six grandchildren, Andrea, Naomi, Michelle, Jolean, Brandon, Jennifer, and Reeda; four great-grandchildren, Miranda, Ricky, Christian, and Randy; three step grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Lyman; four sisters, Iva Mae Winters, Opal Horung, Peggy Waldo and Pearl Lyman; two brothers, Evan Lyman and Billy Lyman; and a grandson, Jason Lyman.
