CEDAR RAPIDS
Stephen J. Atherton, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died May 6, 2008, at University Hospitals in Iowa City following a sudden illness.

Funeral service will be at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.

Visitation will be Saturday at the chapel. Private family interment will be held in Fairfax Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation.
