IOWA CITY, Iowa
Renuncio Muldavia, 87, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. The body has been cremated. The Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory in Muscatine is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born July 19, 1912, in the Ukraine. He married Helen Borgwardt on Dec. 10, 1934, in Chicago, Ill.

He was a self-employed Carpenter until retirement in 1979.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Anna Schwartz of Arlington Heights, Ill. and Ardith Astrinsky of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1968, and one son, Jacob.
