WAPELLO, Iowa
Jeannie L. Davidson, 56, of Wapello, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Services will be at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello.

There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place following the funeral.

Mrs. Davidson was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Wildwood, New Jersey. She married Robert 'Rocky' Davidson on Dec. 31, 1982, in Cedar Rapids.

She owned various restaurants, bars, and beauty salons, and currently Rocky's Landing, with her husband, at Lake Odessa near Wapello.

She was active with Girl Scouts for many years. Her businesses were always a priority, providing customer satisfaction. She enjoyed gardening. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, Rocky; six children, Kelly Rupe of Wapello, John Hess of Wapello, Kim Hess of Marion, Eric Hess of Wapello, Lori Davidson of West Branch, and Brian Davidson of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; a brother, Bob Slusher of Kansas City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
