ANKENY, Iowa -- Diane Lynn Franklin, 60, Ankeny, died Friday, June 11, 2004, after complications from knee surgery.

Services are at Ankeny Baptist Church. Burial will be at Ankeny Memorial Gardens, Ankeny.

Mrs. Franklin was born Sept. 24, 1943, the daughter of Richard Sr. and Shirley Viner of Muscatine.

She was an active member of Bondurant Baptist Church. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was full of joy and shared it with those in her life.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Gary; three sons, Bryan and wife, Linda, of Ankeny, Brad and wife, Lisa, of Marble Rock and Craig and wife, Carol, of Bunker Hill, Ill.; two daughters, Kristina Andersen and husband, Jeff, of Perry and Lisa Franklin and husband, Perry, of Altoona; three brothers, Richard Viner Jr., Bill and Tony Viner, all of Muscatine; 14 grandchildren; and many friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her father.
