TIPTON - Richard ''Cy'' Earl Bohr, 65, of Tipton, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999.

Services will be at the United Methodist Church in Tipton. The Rev. DeLane Wright will officiate. Sylvia Gould will be the organist and Kathy Grout will be the vocalist. Burial will be at the Masonic
Cemetery in Tipton.

Mr. Bohr was born on June 22, 1934, in Lisbon, the son of Jake and Marjorie Bohr Stout. He married Mickey J. Pierce on June 22, 1954, at the Methodist Church in Tipton.

He was a member of the Methodist Church in Tipton.

He graduated from Lisbon High School.

He was a truck driver for L.L. Pelling for 11 years and a cattle farmer.

He was a member of the Tipton Moose, NASCAR, member, Cedar County Coop member, Farm Bureau member, and a flagman for Frieden Race Tracks for 10 years.

Survivors include a stepfather, Henry Hunwardsen of Lisbon; daughters, Deborah Jannings and her husband, Jeff, of Walcott and Cindy Beverlin and her special friend, Kirk Sissel of Tipton; granddaughter, Kelly Jo Jannings; mother-in-law, Katheryn Schoonover of Mechanicsville; a sister, Joyce Englert and her husband, Bob, of Lisbon; the son he never had, Gary Spies of Iowa City; and two nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Bohr and Marjorie Hunwardsen and his wife, Mickey Bohr on Aug. 26, 1998.
