DEATH SUMMONS GLEN FISHER, 56; RITES INDEFINITE

Glen Fisher, aged 56 years, who had spent his entire life in this community, died at Bellevue hospital at 8:15 am today after a several months illness. He resided at 532 Adams street.

Mr. Fisher, the son of Sylvanus and Amanda Phillips Fisher was born in Muscatine on Aug. 7, 1887. He married Helen Sohwalm here on July 4, 1912. He was a button cutter by trade and was a member of the United Brethren church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Fisher, one son, Wilber Fisher, serving in the United States army at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., one brother, Guy Fisher of Musctine, and one sister, Mrs. R. E. Lee of rural route No. 6, Muscatine. He was preceded by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

The body is at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral home where it will remain pending arrangements for rites.
