DEATH CLAIMS MRS. FISHER

DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER, MRS. LEE, ON BURLINGTON ROAD; FUNERAL TUESDAY

Mrs. Amanda Fisher, 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Lee, on the Burlington Road, at 8:30 Sunday morning after an illness of four years.

Mrs. Fisher was born in Muscatine, Jan. 9, 1859, and had spent all her life in this vicinity. Her husband, Sylvanus Fisher, died Dec. 24, 1910.

Surviving are six children, Mrs. Gus Tobias and Mrs. Glen Fisher of Muscatine; Guy Fisher of Grandview; Sam of Chicago; Mrs. R. Knowls, Seattle, Wash. and Mrs. Lee; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Spence of this city; two brothers, John and Joe Phillips, both of Muscatine.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. W.H. Slack, pastor of the Musserville Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. The Meyers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Fisher, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Lee on the Burlington road, Sunday morning, were conducted at the home at 2 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. W.H. Slack, pastor of the Musserville Methodist Episcopal church. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wilbur Terry, H.C. Pollock, C.W. Drawbaugh, J.W. Will, George Miller and Frank Abbott. Flower attendants were Mrs. Rita Cash, Mrs. Irman Daedlow, Mrs. Ila Ayries, Mrs. Gladys Bloom and Miss Hilda Miller.
