James Honts
James Francis "Frannie" Honts, Sr., 65, was dead on arrival at Muscatine General Hospital at 9:10 P.M. Monday. His home had been on Rt. 2
He was born February 5, 1909, at Muscatine, the son of Francis E. and Catherine Riegel Honts, and had been a life resident of Muscatine.
He was Member of the Moose lodge and a veteran of WW II.
Survivors include three sons, Charles F. Honts, of Deltona, Fla., James F. Honts Jr. Muscatine and Gregory Paul Honts Muscatine; one daughter, Mrs Harold (Patty) Miller, Cedar Falls; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Honts, Muscatine; and one sister, Mrs. Edna Greene Muscatine.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Friday at the Geo M. Wittich Funreral Home. Intermet will be at Greenwood cemetery where military rites will be held.
Visitation will begin after 2 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
