Kenneth Honts
Kenneth F. Honts, 67, 1013 Wier St., died at 12:30 P.M. Friday at Muscatine General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home. Pastor Don Harding will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10 A.M. Sunday.
Kenneth Honts was born January 11, 1908 at Muscatine, the son of Jessie F. and Minnie Bartenhagen Honts. He was a life resident of the area.
He married Esther Burke July 22, 1954 at Muscaine. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. The Elks Lodge, Moose, American Legion and was a veteran of world war II. He was the former owner of Brownbilt shoe Store.
Surviving are his wife; a step son, Billie Burke, Harlington, Tex., a step daughter, Mrs. Clyde (Beverly) Schaffer, Portland, Ore.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
