MRS. GEORGE H. HERMANN SR.

Mrs. George H. Hermann, Sr. died at her home 1305 Cedar Street at 6:15 pm Wednesday. A complication of illnesses which had caused her be confined to her bed for the last nine weeks was the cause of her death. She was 60 years old.

Regina Marie Weber was born in Koeningsfronn, Wurtemburg, Germany, February 19, 1860, where she received her education.

In March, 1879 she started for America and arrived in Muscatine the same year and has resided here ever since. She was married to George H. Hermann, Sr., November 21, 1882, to which six sons and two daughters were born.

Surviving are her husband, George H. Hermann, Sr., also Edna, Alford and Weber at home and residing in Muscatine and vicinity are, Fred W., Mrs. Clara Klaffenbach, Charles H., George H. Jr., and William C. Hermann.

She was a member of the Lutheran church since childhood later affiliating with the Presbyterian church of this city. She leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be made from the residence, 1305 Cedar street at 3 pm Saturday. Rev. J.B. Rendall of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial to be made in Greenwood cemetery.
