HARRY ROYSTON KLEPPER

Harry R. Klepper, a native of this city, but for the last two years a resident of Davenport, died at Bellevue hospital here at 11:05 o'clock Friday night, after an extended illness. He underwent an operation for appendicitis last Monday. A second operation was performed Friday, in a vain effort to save his life. He was 31 years of age.

Harry Royston Klepper was born in Muscatine, April 1, 1889. When a young boy, he moved with his parents to Everett, Washington. On July 2, 1910 he married Miss Veda Jones, at Everett. To this union two children were born, both of whom survive. He returned to Muscatine in 1916 and two years ago moved to Davenport, where he had since made his home.

To survive, he leaves his wife and two sons, Erwin Lawrence and Oscar Alfred, of Davenport. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Klepper of Muscatine and two brothers, A.B. Klepper of this city, and C.B. Klepper of Everett, Washington.

Funeral services will be held from the home of his parents, 713 Mulberry avenue, at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
