FORREST V. REEVES

Forrest V. Reeves, 62, 3 Geneva Drive, Muscatine, died Friday morning at home.

Services will be Monday at 10 am at the St. Mathias Catholic Church, Muscatine. The Rev. Charles Gannon will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Rosary will be Sunday at 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Reeves was born Dec. 12, 1925 in Muscatine, the son of Floyd E. and Vera (Schreurs) Reeves. He married Dorothy Thompson, April 27, 1945, in Maine. He was a barber for 42 years, the owner and operator of Reeves Barber Shop. He was a member of the St. Mathias Church, Elks Lodge 304 and the Muscatine Amateur Radio Club. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; his son, Michael, Ashville, N.C.; his daughter Sherry Bellinger, Muscatine; his brother Harold, Muscatine and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
