MRS. MINNIE C. HONTS

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie C. Honts, 604 W. Seventh St., Muscatine, will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Rev. E.B. Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 1:30 pm.

Mrs. Honts died at 8:30 am today at Muscatine General Hospital of complications after an extended illness.

A daughter of Peter and Margaret Bartenhagen, she was born Sept. 23, 1887 at Muscatine where she was a life resident.

The former Minnie Bartenhagen married Jesse F. Honts, Oct. 17, 1906 at Muscatine. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors are one son, Kenneth Honts of Muscatine; one brother, Fred Riegel and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Honts and Mrs. Mildred Perschke, all of Muscatine; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and several brothers and sisters.
