Services Are Friday For Arnold Quist, 74
Funeral services for Arnold Quist, 74, retired farmer and a lifetime resident of Page and Montgomery counties, will be held Friday, Feb 25, at 2 p.m. at Mamrelund Lutheran church, Stanton. He died Sunday, Feb 20, at Irwin, Calif., where he was visiting. Perryman-Nelson Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The Rev. Francis Johnson and the Rev. Fred Jansson will officiate and burial will be in Mamre cemetery, Stanton. Floral committee members are Mr. and Mrs. Loren Olander. Music is by Wayne Mainquist, soloist, with Mrs. Myron Lindgren at the organ. Bearers are Ruben Lungren, Virgil Lungren, William Thompson, Paul Hogberg, Ralph Porter, Charles Longstreet. The son of Charles and Augusta Quist, he was born June 29, 1880, in this county and was married in 1908 to Edna Lundquist, who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Harry of Stanton and a sister, Mrs. Sevenda Larson, Red Oak. Another brother, Elery of Stanton, died Feb. 11.
