Stackhouse Rites to Be on Friday; Stanton Woman Died at Home Tuesday Night
Funeral services for Mrs. Elin S. Stackhouse, 54, who died at her home four miles southwest of Stanton Tuesday night, will be held Friday afternoon. Services at 1 o’clock at the home will be followed by rites at the Stanton Mission church at 2 o’clock, with Rev. A. Leonard Smith in charge. Born August 29, 1885, in Page County, Mrs. Stackhouse, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wallin, came to this county in 1911 after her marriage to Roy Stackhouse at Omaha on March 15. She is survived by her husband, stepfather, John Landerholm, for brothers, Charles, Ed, Cornelius and Oscar Wallin, and a sister, Mrs. Eddie Johnson. The Sellergren funeral home is in charge.
