Verner Velander Died Thursday
Verner Velander, formerly of Stanton but now residing in Chicago passed away at this home in that city Thursday morning at 7 o’clock. He is the son of Mrs. S. J. Velander of this place and was 42 years of age. Mr. Velander is survived by his wife and five children, his mother, and two brothers, Ivan and Julius of Stanton. Bright’s disease resulted in his death. Funeral services were held in Chicago Monday afternoon. Julius Velander left Saturday night to be present at the funeral.
