Past President District Legion Auxiliary Dies
Stanton – Funeral services for Mrs. Paul B. Walker, 54, Stanton, immediate past president of the seventh district American Legion Auxiliary, will be held Tuesday, Dec 11, at 2 p.m. in Mamrelund Lutheran church here. She died Saturday, Dec 8, at Murphy Memorial hospital, Red Oak, of a heart condition after an illness of 2 ½ weeks. The Rev. Francis Johnson will officiate at the services and burial will be in Mamre cemetery here. Arrangements are in charge of the Sellergren Funeral home. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dedrick, she was born April 18, 1908, at Celina, Ohio, and was married in 1944 at Cleveland, Ohio, to Paul B. Walker, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Rhoda and son, Paul B. Jr., both at home, three sisters, Georgiana Dedrick of Los Angeles, Mrs. June Lethbridge, Los Angeles and Mrs. Ruth Smith, Mansfield, Ohio. Mrs. Walker had lived in the Cleveland area until moving to Stanton in 1948. She was a member of Mamrelund Lutheran church here, a Luther league counselor and Republican committee woman.
