Paul G. Walker Rites at Stanton
Stanton – Funeral services for Paul G. Walker, 63, Stanton, were held this afternoon at Mamrelund Lutheran Church here with Rev. Francis W. Johnson officiating and burial in Mamre Cemetery. A resident of this community since 1948, he was a General Foreman of Production at the Red Oak plant of Union Carbide Consumer Products Division. He died Monday, Nov 4, at Methodist Hospital, Omaha. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walker, he was born Feb 17, 1907, at Youngstown, Ohio and was a former resident of the Cleveland area. Mr. Walker had been an outstanding amateur golfer and was a former Cleveland city champion. He was married in 1944 to Rhoda May Dedrick, who died in 1962. Surviving are a son, Lt. Paul Walker Jr., Williams AFB, Ariz., daughter, Mrs. Vernon Thompson, Earlham, five brothers, Henry of Phoenix, Walther, Hugo, Carl and Oscar, all of Lakewood, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Toelke of Lakewood, Ohio, and Mrs. Louise Hembley of Bay Village Ohio. Mr. Walker was a member of Mamrelund Lutheran Church.
