Mrs. John Walkington Dead
Stanton – Feb 6 – Funeral services for Mrs. John Walkington, 42, who died Tuesday at 4 p.m., from tuberculosis, at her home in Brush, Colo., following sickness of several years, were held here today at 2:30 p.m., from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Roll. Rev. E. D. Strandberg, pastor of the Mission Church, had charge of the services. Interment was in Mamre cemetery. Mrs. Walkington, was born here Nov. 17, 1888, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Roll. She was a graduate of the Stanton High School, class of 1906, and was married in Omaha, April 30, 1910. She is survived by her husband and parents, and five brothers, Carl, Fridolph, Verner, Pichard and Hilbert Roll, all of Stanton.
