Grace Luella Comstock, 89, Red Oak, passed away Friday ( May 11, 2001 ) at the Good Samaritan Care center after an extended illness. She was cremated and the burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date in the Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, MI. Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Oct. 22, 1911, in Red Oak to Emit and Maude (Finley ) Wheeler. She graduated from the Red Oak High School. She married Oliver Comstock who preceded her in death in 1950s. She worked as a manager at Sears in Des Moines and later was transferred to Highland Park, MI. After retiring, she moved back to Red Oak.

Survivors include her sister, Gladys Dukeshier of Red Oak , two nieces, Lois Lawson of Jefferson, and Joanne Schmidt of Brawley, CA. one nephew, Jim Wheeler of Westminster, CO. many other relatives and friends.
