Memorial services for Geraldine Silence, 61, Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Red Oak, were Monday, may 21, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Mrs.Silence died Wednesday ( May 2, 2001 ) at Scottsdale, AZ.

She was born Nove. 8, 1939 in Shenandoah to carl and Irene ( Thorne ) McClain. She was raised in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School. She married Randy Seeger and this union were born four children. She later married Robert Silence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Silence, and a son, David Seeger.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Seeger of Sterling, CO. and Don Seeger of Scottsdale, AZ. daughter, Susanne Jensen and her husband David of Grand Island, NE. seven grandchildrfen, Jennifer Seeger, Alexis, Jeremiah , and David Jensen, Britni, Devin, and Bryce Seeger, two sisters, Darlene Hunt of Atlantic, IA and Marilyn Reiley of Bridgewater, IA. two brothers, Richard McClain of Jackson, MS. and Robert McClain of Billings, MT., many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
