Memorial services for Lenore J. Whitfield, 75, Orange, CA., were Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000 at Fairhaven Memorial Park Chapel, Santa Ana, CA., with Dr. Stanley D. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, CA. She died following a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 7, 1925 in Montgomery County, Iowa to Ralph and Mildred ( Anderson ) Johnson., who were lifelong residents of Montgomery County. She graduated from Stanton High School and moved to California to work in the defense plant. She married Walter Whitfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one granddaughter.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Whitfield of Orange, CA., son, Gary Whitfield and his wife, Linda, granddaughter and her husband, and great grandchild.
