Funeral services for Ronald Orlando Miller, 77, Red Oak will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Miller died Saturday ( Feb. 13, 1999) at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born May 30, 1921 in Bedford to Elver and Minnie ( Cross ) Miller. He was raised in Bedford and graduated from the Bedford High School in 1939. He served in the Army during World War II. After the war he attended Watch Makers School in Kansas City, MO. He then moved to Logan and worked for a few years, moving to Shenandoah in 1950. He worked for the Lawson Jewelry Store for 39 years. He was united in marriage to Mae Bryant Feb. 14, 1964 in Shenandoah and they moved to Red Oak in 1977. He was a member of the American Legion Post #88 in Shenandoah.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Miller of Red Oak, son, Bob Michael and his wife, Barb of Red Oak, four grandchildren, Shawn Michael and his wife Tamara, of Red Oak, Nick Michael of Red Oak, Stacy Ludwig and her husband, Shawn of Boulder, CO., and Shannon Henrich and her husband, Matt of Longmont, CO. five great grand children, Austin, Kaliann, Dakota, Sheyann and Kassidy, brother, Harold Miller of El Paso, TX., many nieces , nephews, and other relatives and friends.
