Funeral services for James Edward Docker, 38, Red Oak , will be at 10:30 a.m. , Thursday, March 25, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gordon Watson amd Rev. Don Gordon officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday March 24, at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel. A memorial fund is being established. Mr. Docker died Sunday ( March 21, 1999) at Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha after an extended illness.

He was born May 14, 1960, in Red oak to Joe Docker and Jeanette Runyan. He attended school in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1979. After graduation, he went to work at Parker -Hannifin Corporation in Red Oak. He was united in marriage to Kelly Yeager in Red Oak June 20, 1981. he enjoyed helping on the farm with his in-laws, car racing, and antique tractor pulling.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Docker of Red Oak, three children, Mindy, 15, Chris, 12, and Danny, 10 all at home, his parents, Joe Docker of Emerson and Jeanette Docker of Red Oak, brother, David Docker and his wife, Kim of Red Oak, in-laws, Wilbur and Lucy Yeager of Red Oak, sister-in-law and her husband, Denise and Ron Mardesen of Elliott, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
