Graveside services for Mary Evelyn Lucky, 66, Atlantic, will be held at a later date in Evergren cemetery, Mrs. Lucky died Tuesday ( Oct. 16, 2007 ) at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 14, 1941 in Birmingham, Al. to James Claude and Mamie Lenora ( Zimmer) Carlson. On Ocst. 6, 1960 she was united in marriage to Jimmy Lucky in Hattiesburg,MS. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her family, she enjoyed gardening and animals.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Lucky, two sisters, Joanna Spencer and Ruth West, a brother, Samual Hamaker and a great-grandson, Anthony Appley.

Survivors include six children, Dana Cisar and her husband, Dick of Atlantic, Mark Lucky and Vicky Lucky, of Red Oak, John Lucky and his wife, Melinda, Tim Lucky and his wife, Jeanette, all of Stanton, David Lucky and his wife Tina of Omaha, 13 grand- children, Heather Schurman and her husband, Alvin, Jennifer Lucky, Joshua Lucky, Brandie Lucky, James Lucky, Joey Lucky, Michael Lucky, Melissa Lucky, Morgan Lucky, Josh Lucky, Jessica Appley and her husband, Erik, Scott Cisar and Tanner Cisar, two great grand-children, Christina Lucky and Nathaniel Appley, sister, Arlene Cisco, and two brothers, Bill Carlson and George Edward Hamaker.
