MRS. MINNIE WILSON BURIED WEDNESDAY

After An Illness of Several Months Red Oak Woman Dies Sunday at the Home of Mrs. Sam Stennett.

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie E. Wilson were held from the Bileau & Thomas garden chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 24, with Rev. Guy J. Fansher of the Methodist Church officiating. Pallbearers were Frank Craig, Dale Petty, Lester Shires, Frank Wenberg, George Marsh and Ray Anderson. Music was by Mrs. Orrin Carmichael, soloist, with Mrs. Ray Cozad at the organ. Mrs. Frank Wenberg and Mrs, Verni Combs took care of the flowers. Burial was in Lowman Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was born Aug. 21, 1872 in Wapello Co., IA, a daughter of Charles and Martha Copeland. She was married to Job S. Wilson Aug. 21, 1887. Her husband died Dec. 4, 1926. Nine of their 11 children survive as follows: Mrs. Luther Anderson, Mrs. Earl Lowman, Mrs. Harry Laire and Russell Wilson of Red Oak, Mrs. Otto Nelson, Aunsville, OR; Mrs. Ed Murrell, Mrs. Everett Beem and Gordon Wilson of Winterset; Ted Wilson of Lorimor. Three step children are Mrs. Jesse Mewhirter, of Griswold, Scott Wilson of Elliott and Mrs. Clyde Hogeland of Bloomfield, NE. Thirty-two grandchildren and six great grandchildren, one brother, Ed Copeland of Red Oak, and a sister Mrs. Myrtle Westover of Grant, also survive..
