Elgin Echo, Thursday, 10 April 1902.

The four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Moore, southeast of Red Oak, was drowned by falling into a water tank used for watering horses, on April 5. His brother, aged six years, was sent to call him to dinner and found him in the tank.
