Lillian R. Lewis, 79

Services for Lillian Ruby Lewis, 79, Stanton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Mamreulund Lutheran Church in Stanton with the Rev. Eric Kutzli officiating. Burial will be in Mamre Cemetery in Stanton. She died Wednesday (April 25, 1990) at her home in Stanton following a brief illness. Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home in Red Oak is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lewis was born Jan. 29, 1911, in Stanton to Carl Edward and Selina Weseen. She married Lawrence Lewis Nov 28, 1959, in Council Bluffs. She lived all her life in Montgomery County except for 18 years when she lived near ElDorado Springs, Mo. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mamrelund Lutheran Church in Stanton.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald Benskin of Omaha and Dennis Benskin of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Sharon Goldsmith of Cedar Rapids; one step-son, Lloyd Lewis of Red Oak; one step-daughter, Marilyn Wemhoff of Bennington, Neb.; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Elsie Bates of Elliott and Alice Weseen of Omaha.

Note: First husband was Floyd Benskin who died in 1951.
