LAURA MARCUSSON, 93

Brief services for Laura Marcusson, 93, Red Oak, will be Wednesday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Graveside services and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak. Miss Marcusson died Sunday (July 18, 1993) at Stanton Care Center in Stanton.

She was born Feb. 1, 1900, near Grinnell to Hans and Iola (Gilbert) Marcusson and worked for The Thos. D. Murphy Co. in Red Oak for 30 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the 15-20 Year Club of The Thos. D. Murphy Co. and a member of First Baptist Church in Red Oak. Memorials are suggested to the church or Red Oak Rescue Unit. There is open visitation at the funeral chapel.

Survivors include two nieces, Margaret Cozad of Red Oak and Darlene Christensen of West Branch; one nephew, Luverne Marcusson of Red Oak.
