Mrs. Frances A. Ladd Dead.

Mrs. Frances A. Ladd, 90, died Monday, Jan 14, at her residence, 810 Fifth-St.

She was born at Case Corners, near Schenectady, N.Y., in 1839. She was married to Senaca B. Ladd in 1968. A few years later they moved to Montgomery County, where they resided for 25 years on a farm near Hawthorne. In 1902 they moved to Red Oak where Mrs. Ladd has since made her home. Mr. Ladd died in January 1904. A daughter, Mrs. Jessie Grove has made her home with her mother for the past 15 years. Another daughter, Miss Almira S. Ladd, who teaches in New York City, arrived a few days ago to be with her mother during her last illness. Another daughter, Mrs. Anna E. Smith, of Seattle, Washington, was unable to come for the funeral. Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Boileau & Thomas funeral parlors. Rev. T. S. Kesterman, pastor of the Baptist church, conducted the services. The pallbears were F. A. Budick, Chas. Shank, Luther Peters, Geo. Wallace, I. M. Shaver and E. R. Wood. singing was by Mrs. I. A. Brayton and Mrs. Howard Brannock, with Miss Mabel Reimers as accompanist. Interment was in the Red Oak Cemetery.
