January 1, 1968Mrs. Charles Quick Of Moravia Dies
Mrs. Charles C.(Beuhlah) Quick, 62, of Moravia, died Monday, Jan. 1, at University Hospital in Iowa City where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
She was born Sept. 23, 1905, in Appanoose County, the daughter of George and Elisabeth Ellis
Boyer. She was married Nov. 26, 1924, to Charles Quick.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine McKern of Bettendorf, Mrs. Rosemary Burkland of Moravia; four grandchildren; a brother Carl Boyer of Unionville; and a sister, Mary Ball, of Carrollton, Mo.
She was preceeded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m. at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville, with the Rev. Olen R. Adams officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Verlin Chipp. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery in Moravia.
The family has established a memorial for the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Quick.
