Funeral Sunday for Mrs. McCrory

Funeral services were held Sunday for Delia McCrory, 77, 104 S. 13th St., who died Thursday in Monroe County hospital.
Sevices were conducted by the Rev. Thomas Hersey, Pastor of the Moravia Methodist Church, and were held at the Turner Funeral Home in Moravia. Burial followed in the Moravia Cemetery.
Mrs. McCrory was born at Chillicothe, Sept. 22, 1890, the daughter of Dan and Elizabeth Locke Brackett. Her first husband, Jasper Barnes died in 1918, and her second husband, Marion McCrory died in 1935.
She made her home with a son, William Barnes, of Albia, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cleo Barnes of Denver; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Dickey of Des Moines, and Mrs. Ellen Kutch of New Sharon.
