MRS. MICHAEL SCIESZINSKI

Mrs. Michael Scieszinski, 64, of 1514 Mineral Point, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital after a long illness.

The former Lucille Ellebrecht was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Spencer, S.D., and married Michael Scieszinski on Aug. 22, 1936, in Janesville. A city resident since 1935, she worked at First National Bank and Gibbs Manufacturing Co.

Mrs. Scieszinski was a member of St. William Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Catholic Woman’s Club and Elk Ladies.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Terry of Janesville; a daughter, Mrs. Marleen Rogers of Lake Geneva; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Bohlman and Mrs. Ann Elliott, both of Janesville, and Mrs. Blanche Allen of Omaha, Neb.

Services will be at noon Friday in St. William Catholic Church with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Schneider Funeral Home. The Catholic Woman's Club rosary will be recited there at 3 p.m., followed by the parish rosary at 8:30 p.m. The Elk Ladies also will meet in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.
