Obituary

Mrs. Lucinda Moulton, was born
near Lima, OhiO, on Oct. 3rd, 1820, and
moved to Iowa in the winter of 1855,
making her home in Hamilton, Marion
county, Iowa. Since that time
her husband, Mr. W. Moulton, passed
away Jan. 17th, 1895. Mrs. Moulton
was one of Marion countys pioneers,
well known and greatly esteemed by
all who knew her. For many years
she was a member of the Daughters
of Rebecca. She united with the
Methodist Church in 1860. Three
daughters survive her, Mrs. A. Crowell,
of Albia, Iowa, Mrs. L. Burton
and Mrs. E. Preston, of Hamilton,Iowa. After a sickness of seven weeks she passed away Saturday Sept. 19th, 1896, aged 75 years and 11 months.
Funeral services were conducted by
Rev. Cook, pastor of the FriendsChurch.
