Obituary from the Onawa Democrat
February 19, 1920:

Lucretia Burrell was born October 22, 1859 and died February 15th, 1920, aged 61 years, 8 months and 7 days. She was born in Green County, Wisconsin, near the town of Monroe.

She was married in 1876 to Isaac Burrell. To this union were born six children, four of which survive her Oscar, and Lloyd Burrell of Onawa, Iowa, Mrs. George O'Connor of Turin, Iowa and Orel Burrell of Denison, Iowa.

A number of years ago she confessed her faith in Christ and has tried throughout the years to be obedient to Him.

Funeral services were conducted at the Onawa cemetery Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock in charge of Rev. C. S. Kleckner of the local Christian church. Mrs. Sylvia Plinske, sang two special numbers appropriate to the occasion.
