Brian Ray Kuhlman, 60, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska, surrounded by family.

A Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, in Onawa, Iowa, with Chaplain Zau Sam, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Brian’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery in Rural Turin, Iowa. A visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Brian Ray was born July 19, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of Randel and Noreen (Kendall) Kuhlman. He attended Whiting High School where he graduated with the class of 1981.

Brian worked for various food processing plants throughout the years. He worked for IBP in Dakota City and National Beef. He was a production manager at Tyson in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Brian was dedicated to all his employees, he cared about all of them.

Brian enjoyed golf, cars, and traveling with friends and family. He loved spending time on his acreage near Shelby, Iowa. Brian enjoyed grilling and smoking food, especially ribs.

Survivors include his significant other, Maria Magana and her daughter, Gaby Tapia Magana of Omaha, Nebraska; children, Lindsey Kuhlman of Oxford Junction, Iowa, Drew Kuhlman of Maquoketa, Iowa, Jessica (Caleb) Morss of Kahoka, Missouri, Kendall (Ashley) Kuhlman of Carroll, Iowa; parents, Randel and Noreen (Kendall) Kuhlman, Mapleton, Iowa; grandchildren, Bryleigh Kuhlman, Caileigh Bickford, Damian Kuhlman, Darius Kuhlman, Drayton Kuhlman, Donovan Kuhlman, Dawson Kuhlman, Camden Morss, Cadence Morss, Caizley Morss, Devon Butcher, and Gage Butcher; sister, Dawn Smith of Mapleton, Iowa; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVerne and Darlene (Shannon) Kuhlman, and Bennie and Amanda (Martin) Kendall; and other relatives and friends.
