Mrs. Frank Dimig Sr., 88, Danbury, died Wednesday at nursing home at Mapleton, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Danbury. The Rev. E. D. Hoffmann will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton.

The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.

The former Mary Ann Schimmer, Mrs. Dimig was born Dec. 23, 1882, in Sac County, Iowa. She moved to Danbury at an early age with her parents and had been a resident since. She was married to Mr. Dimig April 16, 1901, at Danbury. Mr. Dimig died in 1958.

Mrs. Dimig was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Jr. and Henry, both of Danbury; a brother, William of Cherokee, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Anna Kennaley of Danbury; seven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
