Mrs. Alfred Livermore, 89 Oto, died Thursday at a Mapleton, Iowa, nursing home after long illness.

Funeral services will be at p.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ at Oto. The Rev. Walter Enstrom will officiate. Burial will be in Oto Cemetery under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Mapleton.

Mrs. Livermore, the former Annie Gray, was born Nov. 30, 1881, in Ireland. She came to the United States and to Oto at the age of 14. She lived in the Oto and Smithland communities the rest of her life, except for the last year and a half in a Mapleton nursing home.

She was married Oct. 22, 1902, at Onawa, Iowa. Mr. Livermore died in 1961.

Mrs. Livermore was a member of the Oto United Church of Christ, the Mite Society and the Oto Cemetery Society, and she was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Leslie Cleveland of Hornick, Mrs. Joseph Bollig of Mapleton, Mrs. Marvin Stratton of Pierre, S.D., Mrs. George Uhl of Battle Creek, Iowa, and Mrs. Gene Ronald of Iowa City, Iowa; two sons, Parley of Sioux City and Wayne of Mapleton; 32 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
