Carol E. Gray, 76, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her residence.

Per Carol’s wishes, cremation has been accorded. No services are being planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Carol Edith was born November 18, 1945 in Worthington, Minnesota, the daughter of Verne and Leona (Manitz) Ulven. She grew up near Soldier, Iowa and attended East Monona High School and graduated in 1964.

Carol and Roger Gray were married August 15, 1964 in Soldier, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Gray of Onawa, Iowa; her children, Jeffrey (Kim) Gray of Winterset, Iowa, and Trisha Thelander of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; grandchildren, JJ (Kyndra) Gray, Kelsey (Cody) Gray, Kali Gray, Dustin Thelander, and Levi (Katrina) Thelander; great-grandchildren, Callen Gray, Wesley Gray, Tryce Gray, and Kyra Stukenholtz; three brothers, Lon (Jo) Ulven of Milford, Iowa, Jon Ulven of Omaha, Nebraska, and Kirk (Danielle) Ulven of Beresford, South Dakota; sister, Joy (Rick) Ehlers of Soldier, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Leona (Manitz) Ulven; parents-in-law, Fern and Erma (McElwain) Gray; sister, Janet Foss, sister-in-law, Sharon Farber; and brother-in-law, James Gray.
