Turin:
On Monday noon occurred the death of one of this communities highly and well known citizens, Mr. Thomas Larson, after an illness extending over a period of three months. Mr. Larson was born in Denmark 62 years ago and came to this country in the year of 1878. He was married some 35 years ago and to this union were born five children, all of whom with their mother survive their kind and loving father. The children are: Mrs. Martha Hansen, Turin, Iowa; Chas. Larson, Moorhead, Iowa; Mrs. Mabel Knoff, Moorhead, Iowa; Elmer Larson, Moorhead, Iowa; and Oscar Larson, Moorhead.

Mr. Larson moved to Monona County some 25 years ago and has since made his home here. The funeral services were conducted on Wednesday by Rev. Jorgenson, of Kimballton, Iowa, and he was buried in the family lot of the Lower Danish church burial grounds.
