30 December 2020Caleb Scott Solberg, 30, of Moorhead, Iowa passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Pisgah, Iowa.
A funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the East Monona School Gym, Moorhead, Iowa. Family requests those attending to please wear casual attire. (Social distancing measures must be followed- Due to Covid -19 restrictions masks are required). Burial will be in the Spring Valley Cemetery, Moorhead, Iowa. Visitation will be 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Gym. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.
Caleb Scott Solberg was born September 6, 1990 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the son of Scott Charles Solberg and Connie Jo Burbridge. He grew up in Woodbine, Charter Oak, and Moorhead. He graduated from Charter Oak-Ute High School in 2009. He worked for John Deere in Onawa, Iowa, Solberg Well Company, and with his brother, Craig Pryor- Diesel Repair, and was currently working for Ute Tire Company, Ute, Iowa.
Caleb enjoyed dirt bikes, guns, driving fast, side by sides, junkyard shopping, and anything with a motor. He enjoyed fun things.
He volunteered on the Moorhead Fire and Rescue in Moorhead, Iowa.
Survivors include his son, Zachary Solberg of Manning, Iowa; parents, Connie Burbridge of Woodbine, Iowa and Scott (Sarah) Solberg of Moorhead, Iowa; grandparents, Leroy and Charlotte Burbridge of Woodbine, Iowa; brother, Craig (Roxanne) Pryor of Woodbine, Iowa; four sisters, Kellie Pryor of Woodbine, Iowa, Christian Kuhlman of Woodbine, Iowa, Evelina Solberg of Moorhead, Iowa, and Arabella Solberg of Moorhead, Iowa, his dog companion, “Beast”; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, JoAnn and Donald Solberg; two uncles, Jeff Solberg and Steve Anderson; and two cousins, Dustin Solberg and Shelby Solberg.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Caleb’s memory for Zachary’s future education fund.
